Whether for special events or just strolling around town, there are numerous reasons to come to Manitou aside from the Runner’s Special or the Planet Burger. 

Manitou Springs is a vibrant, independent and unique community filled with intelligent, creative people.  Manitou Springs is a walkable community too.  Due to the recent and ongoing revitalization, it is pleasant and relaxing to wander the streets while listening to street performers, tasting the spring waters, playing in the play parks and people watching. 

The community table within the cafe has multiple purposes as well.  From a practical standpoint, it is a way to avoid "the wait" provided you are comfortable dining with people you don't know . . . yet.  Socially, it is a great way to meet new people that may live near by or are simply passing through.  For many single diners, the community table allows for a level of comfort that dining in a "too large" or "wide open" table might not provide.  The placement of the community table was intentional; centrally located, near the windows and where the most action is taking place.  So, next time you choose to eat at Adam's, consider choosing the community table.
